Today I have another little project finished.
This is the Monkey King, the sculpture is 53 cm, I used clay medium Chavant NSP.

It's the lack of intentional muscle and ornamentation that makes it look more realistic (no offense to Donny Yen's take on him).Though I also feel that it can just as easily be said to be Hanuman (whom ppl say the Monkey king is based on) from the Hindu belief system particulary with the lack of Chinese themed garb and the slim build and rudimentary body decor that might make ppl think more readily of Indian culture.
